The global target of the operational programme is to provide an effective, efficient and proper administration, implementation, financial management, control and audit of Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund in Slovakia during the period of 2007 – 2013 in order to achieve the strategic target “Considerable increase of competitiveness and productivity of the regions and the Slovak economy and employment until 2013 by respecting sustainable development”.
Horizontal activities provided by the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional development of the SR and the Ministry of Finance that are common for all operational programmes, or that require implementation across the board for all organs involved in management, implementation and control of operational programmes, are financed through the OP Technical Support covering the entire area of SR.
The executive authority OP Technical Support is the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional development of the Slovak Republic.
Financial contribution of ES for this programme is 97 601 421. Operational Programme Technical Support was approved by EC on 24. 09. 2007.
