The global target of this operational programme is to provide sustainable economic growth and employment.
The operational programme’s priority axes are complemented by some sectors that are supported by programmes of ROP, OP Research and Development, OP Employment and Social Inclusion and OP Education. The operational programme represents one of the main implementation tools to achieve the priorities of the National Reform Programme in the sector of innovations, and directly contributes to the accomplishment of priorities in the business environment sector.
The executive authority of OP Competitiveness and Economic Growth is the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. Financial contribution of ES for this operational programme is 772 000 000 EUR. Operational Programme Competitiveness and Economic Growth was approved by EC on 28.11. 2007.
